New Season…New Site

New Season…New Site
During the past few winter months we have been working hard at updating the Arctic Roots Farm website. We had a lot of fun building the new site and are very proud of the result. Our goal was to develop a site that, not only presents what the farm has to offer, but also acts as a resource point for our guests, customers and the local community.

On this new site you’ll find information about the farm history and what the farm is up to today. We’ve also expanded the resources and events section to include a comprehensive calendar of local events, fun and helpful videos, selected recipes, and various local attractions. We hope the new sidebar links will be helpful for quick reference to other related resources.

Our Market pages include detailed descriptions of the produce, peppers, and fresh herbs that we expect to offer for the 2017 market season. Check out the Eggs page to learn more about our layer chickens, ducks and geese.

We’ve added a North Forty Farm section to include the products we offer through our old North Forty Farm brand. Here you will find information on our all-natural Cranberry-Birch Granola and some of the special handcrafted gift baskets and other items we produce. The Dried Herbs page gives detailed descriptions and uses for dried culinary herbs, as well as wild and cultivated medicinal herbs that we expect to have available for the 2017 season.

As with any useful website, ours is a work in progress. We will continue to update information, add new helpful videos and resources, and expand content as necessary. Send us your valuable input by clicking on the Contact Us page.
