We are very fortunate to be expanding our dream. Having spent the last eight years homesteading off of the road system, west of Ester, we are glad to be expanding our experiences farming in Alaska. Our homestead, North Forty Farm, was an experiment in learning to live off the land and experience the rawness of Alaska. We also wanted to offer our daughter, Kalei, a grounded upbringing. Living without modern conveniences and experiencing life in a “simple” way has helped us all appreciate the conveniences of modern life and to be able to apply them in a moderate and meaningful way.

We are excited to take over where Chris DuBois and Nancy Davidian left off in their amazing development of Arctic Roots Farm. It is our goal to honor and expand upon what they have built.
